Miss Rock Island County Fair Queen Pageant

 

 

Welcome to the 2019 Rock Island County Fair Queen Pageant. This year's pageant will be held on Sunday, July 14th at 4:00 p.m., at United Township High School auditorium.

​

Miss Rock Island County Fair, Junior Miss Rock Island County Fair, and Little Miss Rock Island County Fair will reign over the fair July 16 through July 20, 2019. The Queen will also represent the Rock Island County Fair at the IAAF Conference in Springfield, Illinois in January 2020 where she will compete for the title of Miss Illinois County Fair 2020.

 

To be eligible as a Queen contestant one must:

​

  • Be 16 years of age by July 14, 2019, but not 22 years of age by January 1, 2020.

  • Be a resident of Rock Island County, enrolled/attend school in Rock Island County, or have been born in Rock Island County, currently residing in Illinois.

  • Be single, never have been married, divorced, or had a marriage annulled.

  • Never have had a child or be pregnant.

 

Each contestant will compete in a speech category (one minute), an interview with a panel of judges, a swimsuit competition and an evening gown competition. Each contestant will also answer onstage questions.

 

To be eligible as a Junior Miss contestant one must:

​

  • Be 11 years of age by July 14, 2019, but not older than 14 years of age.

  • Be a resident of Rock Island County, enrolled/attend school in Rock Island County, or have been born in Rock Island County, currently residing in Illinois.

  • Be single, never have been married, divorced, or had a marriage annulled.

  • Never have had a child or be pregnant.

 

Each contestant will compete in an interview with a panel of judges and an evening gown competition. Each contestant will also answer an onstage question.

 

To be eligible as a Little Miss contestant one must:

  • Be 6 years of age by July 14, 2019, but not older than 8 years of age.

  • Be a resident of Rock Island County, enrolled/attend school in Rock Island County, or have been born in Rock Island County, currently residing in Illinois.

 

Each contestant will compete in an interview with a panel of judges and a party gown competition. Each contestant will also answer an onstage question.

Informational Meeting: June 3, 2019, at 6:30 p.m. at the RICO Fairgrounds. All contestants competing or interested are encouraged to attend.

 

Application Deadline and Entry Fee Due: June 9th, 2019 at 4:00 p.m.


Practices: will begin on June 9th, 2019
